What is this game about?

Clear It 7 is the latest instalment of the charming gem matching game. In it, you have to match colored gems to make them disappear as you complete increasingly difficult levels.

This game is full of matching fun and bubble shooter elements, and will surely delight all matching fans out there!

Matching puzzle gameplay that will entertain you for hours!

The gameplay involves matching gems, as stated before. On each stage, you will see the set of gems you have to clear in the middle, set randomly upon a square. On the four sides of said square, on the outer side, are rows of gems, each three gems in length.

What you do is click on one of the rows of gems, and the one at the tip (that is, the tip pointing towards the cluster of gems) gets released. Unlike a Match 3 style of game, you do not have a minimum amount of gems to connect, as long as there are more than one. You can still make chain connections, and that is encouraged.

As you click on the rows of gems, new gems get placed at the other end, therefore you never run out of “bullets”. Bear in mind however, that these bullets are gems themselves, and if you miss your shot (mostly due to miscalculation) you might just end up complicating matters, or even creating a new set of gems entirely, having to clear them as well.

When you just start the game, there will only be about two colors, green and yellow. But believe me when I tell you, it gets more complicated. It is already a complicated mindset to be in, being mindful of each corner of the screen and which row affects which gem; adding multiple colors is just mind boggling.

And on the higher difficulties, the biggest knife on the back are the gems that are similar in color, just different in shade. You need to truly master the game in order to beat the final few levels.

It is not all bad news however, since sometimes there will be special power ups for you to pick up. Usually you can get them by shooting them, or by making a specific match. While it might not go to your personal plans to make said shot, the powers are quite significant. The lighting bolt, for example, can clear four entire rows on its own. Insanely powerful.

Different difficulty settings to mix it up a little!

In terms of the different stages, you can choose on the different difficulties and play a set of stages designed for each tier. The higher tiers, while more difficult, offer more rewards in the form of points.

As you finish levels, you are given the option to gamble said points in a simple game of cards; whomever gets the highest card, wins. Yet this gamble is the double or nothing kind, therefore if you lose, you earn nothing. You still keep any levels you unlocked however, so you don’t leave completely empty handed.

In case you are wondering, the points do have a use. On the top right corner of the main menu, you will see an icon with a puppy on it. Click it, and you are taken to quite the scene: stacked rows of caged puppies! You simply must free them, but for that you have to pay their jailer, and he wants the points you have been making!

Once bought, the puppy will be a permanent part of your personal, puppy paradise. You can see their little houses by clicking on an arrow on the right. If you don’t play the game for the sake of the game itself, at least do it for the puppies.

Engaging and vibrant art style that is a feast for your eyes!

The art style and color palette is very bright, cheerful and what little characters there are, are cartoony in nature. It is mostly primary colors, but as you advance through the levels the difficulty spikes and the stage can get very colorful indeed, what with all the gems floating around.

And that is just it, the only unifying theme is color, there is nothing in particular about the menus or the other characters, they are just colorful. And that is perfectly fine, since that is the aim and goal of the game.
